Things We Want to Do Before Leaving the UK

With the planned move back to Australia there are still a number of things that we would like to do before we leave the UK. Having lived in London for 6 and a half years we have already visited many tourist attractions and done some wonderful things. So this list will be updated a number of times but this is a short list of some of the things that we would like to do.

• Visit Bat & Ball
• Visit Avebury circle
• Visit Bath (Train Booked)
• Visit train station with the longest name in the UK
• Visit Hadrian's Wall (On Train Tour)
• Visit Chester's Roman Fort (On Train Tour)
• Visit Lindisfarne (On Train Tour)

We have booked a week long train tour through Yorkshire and Northumberland that will take in some of the sights that we want to see before we leave the UK.

Hello, and welcome to The Quizzical Owl!

My name is Alex, and together with my fiance Scott, I will endeavour to blog here about our journey from London to Brisbane. We have lived here for just over 6 years, and have decided to move back to Brisbane in August 2011.

While living in London, I have been running a small business, The Bothered Owl (see a theme here?) with my good friend Sarah. I hope, that when we move back to Brisbane, that we will be able to use the wealth of experience we have gained by running The Bothered Owl, to run a similar, successful craft business in Brisbane.
